Dec 13, 2016 “Sir, this is from Friend Bag Ministries”. “You’re from Friend Bags? The one with the little girl”? “Yes sir… but I am not little anymore.” He was so hungry and couldn’t stop saying thanks. The little things you do are remembered!

Often, Friend Bags has to go out in the woods to find someone where they live. No matter where the person is, each one knows that they are special to us.

Thank You for visiting FriendBags.com

Friend Bag Ministries began as a simple way to teach a seven year old to stop saying, “I want, I want, I want”. Through handing bags of basic survival supplies to the homeless and others in need, Friend Bag Ministries shows that it Truly Is better to give, than to receive. That first day of a lesson to a grandchild has taken off and has been supported by an elementary school, local supporters, and Shield of Faith Missions. Headquartered just outside of Raleigh, NC, Friend Bag Ministries is reaching more men, women and children than ever imagined. Providing basic necessities to the homeless and needy of the North &South America is just the beginning of this growing way of helping others in need.

All the major religions of the World teach their followers to give to the needy and outcast. At Friend Bag Ministries we trust the teachings of the Bible and share the hope of Jesus Christ with everyone that receives our help.

James 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him?

James 2:8 The royal law is found in Scripture. It says, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” If you really keep that law, you are doing what is right.

Friend Bag Ministries has distributed almost 6,000 bags one person at a time so that each person hears that someone cares. Along with the bag, Friend Bags will give out: In the winter season… hundreds of gloves, socks, toboggans, scarves and blankets were given out to help the homeless survive the extreme cold, and in the summer… suntan lotion, chap stick, and water.
